FFXIV is coming!

The new FFXIV will be an ONline game same as FFXI. They will keep sorta the same races, but it will be held in a different world. There is talk that SQE will use this as a chance to finish up some areas like the Aht Urghan stuff. I dont know if that is true or not. it will be PS3 and computer only I believe. Rumor had it that it was PS3 to start with and later would open to PC.

The game looks very "WoW'ish" and the Guildleve's look like they're trying to make it so everything can be done without groups (much like WoW). Unfortunately SE sold out and went with the same method as everyone else, trying to make big selling numbers instead of staying true to how they said the game would be.

I for one won't be getting it right when it comes out, gonna wait to see how much it's like WoW.

There are gameplay videos on 1up. I believe it's two of them, and both are kind of a let-down.

And there are no "Aht Urghan like areas". They said it will be completely different from FFXI, so they won't be bringing areas over.
