If we get a full party's worth, I'd like you to come as WHM, for teleport, since my WHM is only level 30. If we don't get a full party, then I'm not sure what job. May need you to come as WAR/NIN in that case, but, we'll see what happens.

Chika has a point, we may not be able to complete all 3 Promyvions in one sitting. If that is the case we will set up another date and time to finish them.

one lil problem with WAR/NIN... I've worked on GA only so not sure I could dual wield anything and have no regular axes for WAR
guess I need to work on axe skills for dual wield... last time I leveled WAR I'd not give a thought to leveling NIN...

Dual Wields just a Novelty really, doesn't have to be used just because it's there, aslong as you've got Utsu: Ichi, thats /NIN's best asset.

What Chika said... You will be subbing /NIN for Utsusemi: Ichi, not dual wield. G.Axe is fine, and probably preferred, because of the overall damage output, and Sturmwind.

We still need 1 more person to fill out the party, and possibly an extra WHM to teleport us to each crag to save time.

We could also just use a WM to jump in and drag us from craig to craig when we are done with the first/second ones. Happy to pay, just need someone who can jump over to drag us.

Dejibo has been waiting to do this for soooooo long, and has actually been invited, and then dropped from a couple of parties headed that way because of her job. I was crushed, but knew the day would come that I could get this done.

I dont ask very often for help, and hope that one or two more will roll up their sleeves, and fall out to help us. If you dont have anything going, we will be on about 1 to 2 EST and will be asking if anyone else wants to join in. We need DD jobs, as we are top heavy on mages. its a level 3o cap, but the level sync will drop your armor down to our level.

So, Its one of those rare times that dejibo asks for help. pleeeeaaaazzeee!

I'm sorry we had to leave you hanging on the top floor, but those who did not complete the fight did not get the option to come back to the spire. It dumped us on the Shattered Telepoint outside.

We are planning on running Promyvion-Mea on Wednesday at 7PM GMT (2PM EST). Mirelka, you are welcome to come again, as well as your friend Yurines. We might be able to complete Dem on Wednesday too, we spent more time than expected because of the wipe.

Unfortunately, Promyvion Mea + Dem have been postponed until next week. Dejibo will be unable to come tomorrow, and Dejibo is pretty much the reason I formed a party to do this. So, I can't do it without her being there.

I'm postponing it until I can find another good day for Dejibo, Yuehunei, and Vachir. I felt rather stressed without my faithful companion there with me.

I hope everyone understands, I will try my best to make sure that Agon, Mirelka and Yurines all get Promyvion completed... just have to find a good day to do it.

I can try for next Monday but if not, all you need are two WAR/NINs, two mages with healing ability, one Ranger (optional but very useful), and the other can be whatever you want, but should be DD, and it's pretty much an easy win provided you use Animas and don't panic and know your roles. I noticed some guides were making a big deal about what jobs you *should* have, but I can tell you from extensive experience the above jobs I listed are all you need. Far too many of them say you can't win without Summoner, but I'll tell you this, I've done and won at least 10 Promyvions, and not one had a Summoner. The two WAR/NINs trade off hate while the other DDs stand by ready to voke off the mages, and the mages play healer (even if the mage is a BLM), and the front line jobs time out their Anima use. Animas last about 20 seconds, and although they do stack, there's little point in doing so. If done correctly, mages won't even need their Animas, but they should procure some just in case. This works for all three Promyvions. No 2hrs should be needed to win. They help, of course, but they're not required.

Despite the need for coordination, Promyvions are not nearly as difficult as they used to be. If everyone stays calm and does their job, you will win. Holla was the hardest. Now that that's out of the way the other two will be done in no time.

Sae ran me through what happened, and by the sounds of it there was unfortunate amount of miscommunications. First and foremost, follow your leader's direction. Secondly, know your role(s) *before* you enter. WAR/NINs are tanks if there is no PLD, and backup tanks even if there is. Warriors are not subbing Ninja for Dual Wield in this, they're subbing it for Utsusemi, and that's why they trade off hate. Do not be afraid of Provoke. RNG is used to help find the Memory Receptacles, follow his direction while avoiding aggro. WHM, RDM, SCH, SMN, and BLM are healers in the BCNM. Nuking is possible, but your nuker(s) needs to be aware of how the elements work in Promyvion: because of the boss's variable elements, nuking and enfeebling tends to be unreliable. All mages should be ready to do healing. Etc etc. Further, all players, *all* of them, need to know what items to bring and should have a healthy supply of them.

CoP missions require teamwork and coordination and I'll just say it here, it only gets harder...the Mammets are a good example. <_<

Mammets was a pain in the butt, and I feel it's safe to say we have extremely good coordination minus the random guy we picked up from the shout. And it was still difficult. Mammets was the last real CoP mission I did as Yhamuna.

At any rate, Holla could have gone better. However, we did still win, so I'm happy. I'm not exactly a good leader (totally inexperienced) but I tried my best... I was relying to Yue to help lead, but since he had a family emergency he had to go.

A huge point to be made is if the boss starts running around the room like the Holla one did, you should try to auto follow it by using Target Lock (* key) + Auto Move. Of course, you will have to stop following to cast Utsusemi. The running around the room is caused by Terroanima. I know people were sleeping & cursed so that prevented some from following the boss like they could have. I tried my best to keep up to the status ailments but felt overwhelmed.

We will try to complete the other two Promyvions after we get a date set up. I need Dejibo to be there, and if possible I need both Yue and Vachir. I do not know if we will have a main tank without Yue so I would like to make sure that he is there again. If not Vachir may have to come as WAR if he feels up to it, however his RNG skills are a boon to the mission.

This shouldn't have happened. I'll run through some ideas for the next two bosses.

Dem:

Fission - Spawns an Offspring
Spirit Absorption - 200 HP drain attack
Promyvion Barrier (Offspring only) - Defense Boost
Quadratic Continuum - Damage attack, one target
Vanity Drive - Damage attack, one target
Stygian Flatus - Paralyze, Area of Effect.

Dem's boss is actually pretty simple, which is why it spawns children. If the group has more than 3 DDs, the DDs not tanking should take out the offspring. They're very weak, but not weak enough to oneshot, so the DD killing them shouldn't be the RNG unless that's the only extra DD. The healer will be focusing on the tank, who will be losing his shadows and/or HP at fixed intervals, so the backup healer should be /WHM and be ready to Paralyna. The tanks should consider Hi Potions for this fight. 5 should be more than enough. This boss is a cakewalk with Hysteroanima, but Terroanima is the key to this boss. Why? Because when he's running around the room, he can't spawn Offspring. After the boss spawns his first Offspring, that's the first melee's cue to use the Terroanima, while the extra DD takes out the spawn. The other characters follow the boss around the room, using their Terro's every 20 seconds and whittle his HP down, then use the Psychoanimas. You can win before the last Pyscho is used.

Mea

Brain Spike - Damage attack, one target.
Empty Thrash - High damage attack, one target.
Impalement - High damage attack, one target. Damage varies oddly.
Murk - AOE Slow + Gravity.
Promyvion Brume - AOE damage + poison + hate reset.
Carousel - Higher AOE damage.

Mea is a damaging pain in the butt. THIS boss is where the Hysteroanima comes in, which will prevent it from using its special attacks, and Psychoanima will debilitated it further. /NIN is especially useful here; PLDs aren't a good idea unless Sentinel is used wisely. Terroanima is a bad idea here, because if it stops running around by the mages an then uses an AoE, you pretty much lose. Hi Potions are not optional for this, they're required. Get antidotes too. Impalement and Brume can send the boss running *straight* for the healer, so help her out. Carousel can do pretty nasty damage too, so keep those shadows up! This is the second hardest boss of the three, but still...compared to Holla this guy is nothing.

I am not sure how many know that I have been REALLY sick. There are just some days, some weeks, that I am not capable of playing. Yes, I know it wasnt that bad since i just had to follow along, and then try to help keep everyone alive. I visually couldnt keep going on Monday. I had such a massive migraine, and needed several days to recover. I am truly blessed that Saekeion has been willing/able to wait up for me to get back in the game.

Thank you to all who have been standing in, and helping push me to the next one, and then finally to the meadows. It will probably be Monday before I can manage to get back there.

Going again, Promyvion Mea & Dem (with luck) on Monday, Feb. 2nd at 7PM GMT / 2PM EST.

Please bring the following:

• Animas - All 3 types, Hystero, Pyscho, Terro
  
• Antidoes - For the Mea boss
  
• Hi-potions - Self healing if healers are low on MP
  

We will try to complete both Mea and Dem if everyone is up to it. The trip to the top floor will be easier on these two, there is no fence.

I will try to keep the party down to 6 people maximum, because we can't return to the spire after the boss fight. It is advised that the people who want to come along but have already completed the boss fight to bring along a warp item (Warp Scroll, Warp Cudgel, Trick Staff) to help them get back out of the spire.

Just to let everyone know... if you have already completed Promyvion then after the fight you get the option to either go back to the Spire or the Shattered Crystal at the crag.

So, no need to worry about walking all the way back through the dungeon. :p
