Ventrillo - Hosting a vent server for ls use

Hi all - first off I am a tech idiot so for me to be able to explain ventrillo in more then a basic format. Well I just can't But the short story is I purchased a Vent server that can hold 25 people. It is a talk server for free we can log on while in ls events or parties or just hanging out and chat it makes gaming life much easier.

When a tank can say "I'm paralyzed" versis typing it - it can make a world of difference.

The catch is it's only for PC users Sorry X-box 360 crew. It is paid for one year so feel free to hop on.

Is the vent server still up? I would like to try and use it this evening, does anyone else get on there?

I would have used it but the mrs insisted on watching soaps right next to me, I'm sure a radio version of Eastender's would not have been very desirable.

Just need to clear up on misconception - On ventrillo if you shoose to only listen you can. There aer two ways to set up your talk key. That is by the talk recognizing sound - ( Not the perfered option. ) Then the hot key or push to talk.

You can also mute someone or lesson another's volume should they come into loud for you.

It is a nice option some nights we are quiet some we are very loud. I think it really helped us on that despot pop since we had insta- communication for almost all that where there for it.

It is an awesome time saving tool in ls events - it is fun when people are in an ls party to be able to talk makes the party go much faster. And it is a great tool to talk about strats or just hang out.

There are three rooms and a 25 people limit. So that way if we have one group of people in nyzle they can hop to another room. Wilst others hang out in a different room.


The only thing I ask you to take into account is there are many personalities and nationalities represented and until we know each other better and our tolerances. Please just be respectfull.

got a new computer, and well...its not going as well as I had hoped. Used all my old settings, but ...I cant connect. ideas? suggestions? help?!
